=== A Melchior M. Philips Review ===Since Ryon has 9 years of RPG experience, I'm going to treat him as a pro, rather than a noob. I'm gonna be a total bitch, but critique will help you out more than me saying "That was awesome, keep it up!"
Things I'll Be Checking:
- Graphics
- Sounds
- Hierarchy
- Tutorial Mechanics
- Fun
- Voice-Acting
- Cliffhanger effect(Whether I want to play the full game or not)
- Balance
- Bugs
- Logic
- Other Notes
Graphics- The first thing I noticed is that you use ALOT of the common RTP. That kind of makes you look like a noob. I suggest you make your own or get some at
http://charas-project.net.
Sounds- the music gets annoying. have some more variations. like, have a different tune when you walk inside a house.
Hierarchy- There's an abundance of great settings all around. nothing looks too full or too empty. that's definatly a great thing to accomplish.
Tutorial Mechanics- ...Where are they? did you secretly hide them? I'm pretty sure there's at least ONE noob going liek "HOW DOE I SPEAK TWO PEOEPLE>

". people might also not be sure how to battle or how to equip items and weapons, or even how to save. you should have at least one tutorial.
Fun- As a grammar-Nazi, finding grammar and spelling error was my fun.
- apart from that, the game was certainly enjoyable, but I hope the full-game has a story-line, rather than just "random kid goes explore for no appearant reason and stuff happens". I want the kid to have a sad background, I want someone(or the world) to be saved, I want at least two awesome things happening, and I want something bad to happen to Krauser.
Voice-Acting- was pretty funny. not especially bad or anything. some voices (like Krauser's a some point) could have a higher volume.
Cliffhanger effect- There was a dire lack of a story line. if this wasn't made by you but just someone random I would honestly not like to play the entire game. there's nothing to make me wonder what happens next. I wnt you to insert a story-line, and a good one too.
Balance- the 200$ and the so-and-so many potions at the beginning are a shame. Usually the problem with games made with RPGmaker is that they have too little random monster fights, and thus you can't level up and get stronger. you should really have more random battles and more monsters that slowly build up to become stronger. use Pokémon or the more recent Megaman games as a reference.
- You and the monsters start out too strong. you should really not have more than 200 HP at the beginning, and be able to beat the random monster battles with that amount.
- Normal potions really don't heal you 500 HP. and High Potions heal you 2500? holy shat.
- The first spawned battle was too soon, too easy, and gave me too much Exp. I went level up by fighting three battles. and I leveled up again after two more battles. and I leveled up after three more battles. etc.
- I had to use three potions in one random battle. do I suck so much?
- Those rats kicked my ass. they do Body Attack WAAAAAAAY too often. I get stunned the entire time and then I died because I was unable to do ANYTHING.
-
I can't save. ANYWHERE!!!! You should insert more save points o_O also if you always save using save points, please remove the saving option from the menu.
- Throw in some Magic Potions in the game.
Bugs- In the starting town, in front of the red house and the pub, you can walk over the edges, which is pretty wierd.
- You can jump over the save point in Dungeon Region without getting Blazed.
- In dungeon region, where you push the rock into the lava, I pressed forward and shift and I ended up jumping around in lava without getting blazed-ish wierd.
- I Can't move after the Imp Shows up in front of the church? is that the end? of so, please put a big "END OF DEMO" notice for future reference.
Logic- You can just walk in and say hi to the major? wow.
- What's that church doing in the middle of freaking nowhere?
- As funny as it was, Nun's are supposed to stay virgins and don't have sexual intercource unless they're married. So... that was funny, but kinda wierd.
Other Notes- The download is so huge, but I guess I'm the only one with the RTP on my PC, so it doesn't matter.
- I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that cares, but watch your grammar. Your/You're, They're/Their/There, un captalized I's, etc. I especially like "The most stupidest thing". you used two different superlatives at the same time LOL.
- there is no-one behind the bar in the Pub

I want to buy me some alchohol.
In conclusion, the game was actually pretty... bad and noobish. sorry to say, but you really have alot to fix.
